Our Supply Chain Software Client is looking for consultants for their fast-growing office in Radnor (PA) near Philadelphia. You will be working with their state-of-the-art advanced planning and scheduling platform to develop planning solutions for their diverse range of customers.
If you have the ability, enthusiasm and experience to work in a complex software environment, if you like difficult puzzles, if you combine functional understanding with technical skills, if you enjoy rapid application development and relatively short and dynamic projects (average projects are generally 4 to 9 months long), then this is the job for you! Our client’s consultants are key in solving their customers’ puzzles in a combination of presales activities (business scan, demo challenge, proof of concept) and implementation projects at fortune 1000 companies in the USA and Canada.
As an Advanced Planning & Scheduling Supply Chain Consultant, you are responsible for implementing Our client’s software at their customers’ locations and in some cases in collaboration with their partners. You must be able to discuss business rules, user interface design, and optimization solutions with management as well as planners. You must be able to quickly understand the business processes, discover optimization potential, define the solution and communicate it to programmers as well as the customers. You would enjoy “solving the daily puzzle,” designing solution vision and being the face of our client to their customers. Their customers range from mid-sized to large industrial companies in metal, manufacturing, logistics, rail, workforce and other markets; knowledge of one or more of these markets is helpful.
Skills and Experience:
B.S. Computer Science or Econometrics
High abstraction and analytical ability
Advanced Planning & Scheduling in industry or logistics
Object-oriented modeling (UML)
Optimization techniques in operations research and artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.)
ERP systems is a plus
Energetic and flexible
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in an environment of top professionals
Minimum of three to five years working experience.
