Position: .Net Developer
Duration: Permanent
Location: Marlborough, MA
Typical Job Functions:
• Assist in the design, development, and support of Directors Desk and related future applications
• Translate business requirements into well-designed and documented software components based on Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL)
• Work closely with Client’s business, infrastructure support, and development teams, and vendors located worldwide
• Provide major contributions to the overall architecture of Directors Desk with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security, and performance
• Participate in all phases of the lifecycle of software application development with an emphasis on architecture, design, quality, code reviews and implementation
Requirements:
• 7+ years of enterprise-class web development experience
• Strongly fluent in ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET), N-Tier development, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), XML-based web services
• Experience with MVC, ORM Framework, Dependency Injection Framework, Design Patterns
• Proven ability to conceptualize and develop standards-compliant, cross-browser web applications utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery / AJAX.
• Strongly fluent in MS SQL Server, DB architecture/design, ADO.Net SQL development
• Experience building secure web applications a plus – user authentication, role-based access control, 3-tier architectures, DB/file encryption, input validation techniques
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for solving challenging problems with high quality solutions
• Effective problem solving and risk assessment skills
• Experience advocating for and using new technology to solve existing problems
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies a plus
